From the above link I have established that my model still needs further detail to its back portion which the schematics available online did not show.
This added detail pretty much finishes off the model. One of the problems I've encountered is before hand in I was concerned for polygon count so I removed some lines from the cylinder shapes on the feet like sections of the droid and this has resulted in a lack of detail, it looks fine its just a mild problem. So amend one issue just to find another but I'll only come back to this if it bothers me enough.
