One of the main issues which comes up with choosing this for a location is that one of my models is going to be a sandcrawler which would leave tracks in the sand. I think the best option to resolve this is to prepare to have my camera angels avoid the wheels until the vehicle has stopped moving.
Also with using Tatooine as the location of my scene I will most likely need to build models that remind the viewer of Tatooine and not just a desert, if I don't have time to make the models I may have to just use a picture but judging by the images online they are fairly simple shapes.
